Discipline – All teachers and staff expect all students to follow all Life School Discipline Philosophy, which can be found in the Life School Student Handbook. Each teacher rewards good behavior and disciplines differently and in accordance with Life School Cedar Hill’s Discipline Management Techniques.
Behavior Consequences-
Behavior will be documented for students not immediately following the 5 Life School Rules and parent(s) will be contacted the same day.
Missing Work- Students who are missing assignments or have not turned in required assignments will be assigned study hall during lunch in a teacher's classroom where they will eat and be given the opportunity to complete missing assignments. Study hall will not be a time for tutoring or extra credit.
Late Work- Work that is turned in late will have points deducted by the day. If an assignment is 1 day late, 10 points will be deducted. An assignment that is 2 days late will be deducted 20 points. An assignment that is 3 days late will be deducted 30 points. If an assignment is four or more days late the highest grade possible will be a 50.
Make-Up Work- Please see Life School's Student Handbook for make-up work policy.
Corrections- If a student makes a 50 or below on a test they will have the opportunity to make corrections or retake the test to raise their grade, per Life Schools Student Handbook.
Extra credit will not be granted for any subject. Students are expected to complete and turn in all assignments.
